Championship Update |
The full lineup for Neptune's championship semi finals is:

The Under 11 B team will play their semi-final against Mallow. Mallow had a big 38 - 8 win over Ballincollig B in their first round matchup and will be difficult opponents.
Our Under 11 A's unfortunately are out after a first round loss to a very good Carraig na bhFear side.
The Under 12's picked up an excellent win over Ballincollig to advance to the semi's. Ballincollig had already beaten us in the Stadium, and are leading the Under 12 league, so this was an excellent win. It doesn't get any easier in the next round though, with a tough game against Glanmire.
The Under 14's needed overtime to scrape past a big powerful Crosshaven side in the first round. Blue Demons will be the semi-final opponents, and Neptune will be out for revenge for a 3 point defeat in the league.
The Under 16's had a first round bye, as did their semi-final opponents Limerick Lakers. Neptune had a good win in Limerick earlier in the year and will be hoping to repeat that performance when the teams meet again.
The Under 18's had an excellent 65 - 34 win over Skibbereen in the first round, and will have their work cut out for them in the semi against Blue Demons.
The Under 20's had a first round bye and will play Ballincollig in the semi, who also had a first round bye.
The Division 2 side knocked out Ballincollig in the first round with a solid 63 - 49 win. Opponents Dragon Crew dismissed Skibereen with a 75 - 67 result.
Both Division 1 teams drew Iona teams in the first round. Division 1 A knocked out Iona B 89 - 46 in the first round and then sent Fr. Mathews packing in the quarters with an impressive 83 - 63 victory. Unfortunately Division 1 B lost out 88 - 53 to Iona A. Division 1 A will take on Glanmire in the semi final, who have gotten past Kanturk and LT United on their way. |
